Founded in the year 1941, the Yonkers Police Athletic League is not only a integral part of Yonkers history, but of Yonkers society. For 75 years our mission has been the same, to serve the youth of the City of Yonkers. To discourage crime by fostering a positive relationship between the City of Yonkers Police, its youth and by engaging the youth in a variety of athletic and educational programs.

The PAL is run by a dedicated board of directors and volunteers.

The Yonkers PAL has been bringing the police & kids together for 75 years. Through sports, educational and cultural activities, police officers work with children, guiding them toward a mature and responsible adulthood. Activities include: baseball, basketball, boxing, martial arts, track & field, computer activities, table games, field trips, an Easter Egg hunt, Special Needs Holiday Party, and more.
